Stormdrain System Assessment: Making Progress

Posted on November 16, 2017

As many as 19 specialized closed-circuit video crews have been assessing Santa Rosa’s storm drain infrastructure in areas burned by the wildfire over the course of the last week.

As of Wednesday night (11/15), a total of 25.2 miles of underground storm drain infrastructure assessment has been completed in the Fountaigrove area. Crews have also begun storm drain assessment in Coffey Park and have completed just over 6 miles of underground inspection. The crews are searching for sections of plastic storm drain pipes that may have burned or melted underground during the wildfire and need repair.
