5340 Skylane Boulevard, Santa Rosa, CA 95403

The County of Sonoma encourages residents to participate in Fire Recovery Community Workshops that will gather public input and shape the Recovery and Resiliency Plan that will provide a framework for our County’s future.

The first forum will be from 6-8 pm, July 10 at the County Office of Education, 5340 Skylane Blvd, Santa Rosa.

The workshops will include facilitated small group discussion sessions where residents will be encouraged to share their ideas and vision for each of the five strategy areas. County staff will provide a brief overview of the County Office of Recovery and Resiliency and the five strategic areas identified by the Board of Supervisors in December 2017. The Office’s mission is to help the County recover from the October 2017 wildfires and emerge better prepared, stronger and more resilient from the disaster.

The five strategic areas:

  • Community preparedness and infrastructure
  • Housing
  • Natural resources
  • Economy
  • Safety net services

Spanish translation, California HOPE counselors and child care will be available at all of the forums. Refreshments will be served.
