    The County of Sonoma’s Energy and Sustainability Division and Sonoma Clean Power are partnering with PG&E to offer a series of free workshops on rebuilding for comfort, durability and energy efficiency.

    The third session, on May 11, High Performance Enclosures: Air Tight, Well-Insulated and Properly Ventilated, is from 12pm-4pm at North Coast Builders Exchange.

    Mike MacFarland will discuss what it takes to properly build a well-designed enclosure that will provide comfort and good indoor air quality, while reducing energy use for heating and cooling.

    Each session in the series stands on its own. Lunch will be provided for class participants.

    • May 18, 12pm-4pm, Residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning: Small Heat Pumps and Small Furnaces – High Efficiency and More Affordable
    • June 1, 1pm-5pm, Energy and Time Efficient Hot Water Systems for New Homes
