Community Meetings to Provide Input for Landscape Design Templates for Rebuild
The Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership and the City of Santa Rosa invite the community to join them and local leaders, landscape architects, and sustainability experts at one of two Community Engagement Sessions to participate in the development of landscape design templates for residents rebuilding from the fires.
The goal of this project is to produce affordable, customizable landscape plans for front yards only that will minimize the cost for those who are under-insured and reduce another barrier to occupancy.
The Community Engagement Sessions will be held at the Finley Community Center in Santa Rosa on March 28 and April 5 from 6pm-8pm and will include social time to reconnect with neighbors, review concept plans, and talk with local experts. This will be followed by a brief presentation and a design charrette to learn more about the needs of the community. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
