As part of an ongoing partnership in response to the recent fires, the City of Santa Rosa and County of Sonoma have established the Sonoma County Consolidated Fire Debris Removal Program (Program) to focus on removal of household hazardous waste and other fire-related debris. A Debris Removal Community Meeting was held on October 26th with over 1,000 members of the public attending. Officials from numerous governmental organizations were on hand to provide a brief overview of debris removal efforts, answered frequently asked questions. In addition, a Debris Removal Right-of-Entry Processing Center is now open in downtown Santa Rosa to help property owners navigate the process. The Processing Center is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at 625 5th Street, Santa Rosa, between Riley St. and Humboldt St. and can be reached at 707-565-6700.
